Precautions For Avoiding Glutinous Rice Glue Penetration
Nov 06, 2022
Adhesive penetration of wall cloth is a major problem in the construction of wall cloth, but in fact, as long as glutinous rice glue is used in the construction, this can be achieved, which can avoid adhesive penetration of wall cloth.
1. Moderate concentration
The prepared glutinous rice glue is not easy to be too thin, and the glue is easy to penetrate when the wall cloth is thin. When pasting the wall cloth, the sticky rice glue can reach the state of sheet dropping.
2. Glue evenly
When applying glue on the wall, the glue should be applied evenly, so that there is no glue accumulation or lack of glue (if you are not sure whether the glue is even, you can use a strong flashlight for self inspection). Especially at the internal corners, you can use a small brush to brush twice more.
The gluing thickness is about 1mm. The glue brush is too thick. If the force is too large when scraping the surface of the wall cloth, the glue will be squeezed and penetrate the wall cloth, which will lead to artificial glue overflow.
3 Check the status on the wall
After the glue is applied evenly, wait for some of the water in the glue to evaporate according to the actual situation of the wall, and then go to the wall when the initial viscosity is the strongest, so that it is easier to hang the cloth, and it is not easy to penetrate the glue when some of the water evaporates.
The initial viscosity of glutinous rice glue is also called wet viscosity, that is, the viscosity of glutinous rice glue when it is not completely dry. Different glutinous rice gums have different initial stickiness. Generally, the initial viscosity is better after 5-10 minutes.
