How Do You Make Wallpaper Glue

Jul 25, 2020

1: Preparation of glue

Generally speaking, watering is made by mixing wallpaper glue powder and ordinary white glue, so the glue has a moderate viscosity and is easy to brush. Wallpaper glue powder is natural starch, while white glue is a synthetic resin, so different amounts of white glue need to be added according to different wallpaper. For example, the wall covering on the cloth-based glue is very thick, so the glue is thicker than other wallpapers, and it can be made with less than 15 ounces of glue and wallpaper glue powder.

2: Construction

After making the glue, you can brush it. When brushing your teeth, everyone should move smoothly. When holding the roller with one hand, the other hand should also be fixed where there is no glue. After the glue is applied, in order to avoid leakage, the glue should be applied to the glued surface with a small brush on the edge of the wallpaper. After the wallpaper is glued, you can go to the wall. When you walk to the wall, you should be careful not to fold or crumple the wallpaper. The wallpaper must be flat on the wall without air bubbles, so be careful when pasting it. If bubbles are found, scrape them off with a spatula.

3: Post inspection

After the wallpaper is pasted, it does not mean that the wallpaper is pasted. You need to do a final post-mortem check to prevent unexpected situations. At this time, you can check whether the seams of the wallpaper are aligned, whether there are warped edges, whether there are first-class air bubbles, whether the wallpaper has creases, etc. If the seams are not aligned, you can skip the seams, pour glue and paste at the seams, Make the seams neat. If there are bubbles, scrape them off; if there are wrinkles, use a utility knife to cut the wrinkles, add some glue, and roll them flat with a roller.
